Who you are

As a real estate sales professional, you will collaborate on the daily operation of your team's business, expanding your knowledge in all aspects of commercial leasing, marketing, and sales - not to mention a unique combination of financial and research skills. Opportunities for long-term growth are possible and encouraged. Ultimately, you bring a passion for real estate, strong intellectual capabilities, and demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.

What you bring

  • 1+ years of relevant sales experience (both via phone and in-person canvassing), quality internship experience is considered.
  • Licensed Real Estate practitioner with the State of Indiana (or in process of obtaining).
  • Highly motivated, bringing a high level of energy and initiative to everything you do.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal quantitative, writing and communication skills.
  • Well organized and with excellent time management skills.
  • Desire to advance in the commercial real estate industry.
  • Prior experience using CRM programs.
  • Spreadsheet applications experience (Microsoft Excel).

Bonus skills and experience

  • Prior knowledge of commercial real estate.
  • Familiarity with commercial leases and terms.

What success looks like

  • You will be heavily involved with cold calling and prospecting for new business and following up on leads and opportunities to assist in deals.
  • You will maintain company databases to track prospects and business opportunities.
  • You will bring a great attitude in learning the business and local marketplace by attending local business and industry events, networking, and participating in client meetings.
  • You will go through training to learn the "Colliers Way" of doing business.
  • You will coordinate supporting materials for offer packages and review proposals, leases and related documents.
  • You will prepare and distribute presentations, reports, proposals, spreadsheets, correspondence and other documents.
  • You will eventually transition to independently managing lease and/or sales transactions from start to finish.
