Essential Job Functions:

  • Ability to positively promote guests relations.
  • Ability to effectively assign dealers within an assigned area.
  • Ability to effectively supervise upwards of 15 Table Games dealers.
  • Ability to accurately carry out supervisory responsibilities including the recommendation of discipline
  • Ability to effectively provide training, work direction, rewarding and correcting employee performance and the addressing of complaints.
  • Ability to effectively resolve problems.
  • Prepares and orders table fills and credits and monitors credit and player ratings (as applicable).
  • Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time (7+ hours).
  • At times could be designated to change cards/dice on shift change and every 2-4 hours on novelty games or change out damaged cards/dice
  • At times could be designated to open and close games as business dictates.
  • Must be able to use stairwells or service elevator to go from floor to floor.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs; and be able to push, pull, grasp, reach, stoop, bend, twist and climb up and down stairs.
  • Must be able to understand and communicate in English.
  • Must be able to work in an environment with second hand smoke and loud noises.
  • Must be willing and able to work a variety of hours, holidays and weekends as determined by business needs
  • Knowledge and enforcement of all IGC regulations and Internal Controls
  • May be required to perform other duties as assigned.

Service Standards: Follows Thoughtful Services Model at all times

Qualifications: Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school and/or six months to one year related casino experience and/or training. Must have good verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to perform basic math functions with confidence. Must have the ability to problem-solve effectively and efficiently. Knowledge of the Federal Currency Transaction Reporting (CTR) regulations and requirements. Knowledge of MTL and SARCs. Thorough knowledge of table games supervision and table supervision requirements, casino rules and procedures regarding the same. Must have dealing experience and working knowledge in two of the following game types:

  • Blackjack
  • Roulette
  • Craps
  • Poker

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations: Must be able to obtain and maintain an Indiana Gaming license.
