Job Description

TSC is seeking an Electrical Technician III in Washington, D.C. to support our Space Solutions & Services Operation. Work for this position will be performed primarily at the Naval Research Laboratory in Washington, D.C.

TSC is currently seeking an individual with strong experience in test and integration of spacecraft busses and payloads to support the Naval Center for Space Technology, Spacecraft Engineering Division at the Naval Research Laboratory in Washington, D.C. This individual will have a strong background in space systems for commercial and government customers and will be involved in many facets for our customer that are associated with building and troubleshooting flight hardware.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in Engineering or an applicable technical field

  • 5+ years of experience supporting troubleshooting, assembly and installation for spacecraft development

  • Strong experience with test and integration of flight hardware for space vehicles and aircraft systems

  • Strong experience with QA standards and adhering to safety protocols

  • Strong experience performing inspections and scheduled maintenance for spacecraft integration and test facilities

  • Strong communications skills and ability to work well in a team environment alongside other engineers, technicians, program managers, contractors and government personnel.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI DoD Clearance.

Pay Range: The proposed salary range for this position is $90,000-$95,000. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
