The Role

Your mission as a Control Panel Assembler within PC Indiana, part of the Atlas Copco Group is, to ensure unparalleled precision and reliability in every product. We take pride in our commitment to excellence, from meticulous layout and component installation to the assembly of diverse electrical components. Beyond physical assembly, you will embrace responsibility by loading programs, assigning serial numbers, and conducting thorough testing to guarantee optimal performance and client satisfaction. As Control Panel Assembler, you will report to Operations through the Production Supervisor.

  • You will perform layout, sub panel layout, component installation, wiring, and complete panel assembly.

  • You will assemble and mount various electrical components.

  • You will install buttons, knobs, switches, and placards on control panel door.

  • You will load program into the controller and assigns serial number to panel.

  • You will test panels after assembly.

What we expect of you?

To succeed, you need

  • You have an associate's degree in Electrical or 2+ years of experience in electrical panel wiring, layout, and panel assembly, Electrical certification, or equivalent experience.

  • You can read and interpret prints and diagrams.

  • You have experience in panel building process.

  • You are familiar with electronic symbols, components, (transfer, relay, contactors and controllers) and VFD drives.

  • You can use hand tools and appropriate testing equipment.

  • You have knowledge of industrial electrical and wiring codes.

  • You can work with Assembly and Engineering Departments.

  • You can lift up to 50 lbs.

  • You are fluent in English, as this is our internal language.
