TSC's Innovation & Product Cell (IPC) is currently seeking a Senior Test Engineer in Huntsville, AL with an industry focus in the testing of RF & Microwave systems. In this role, the candidate will develop and execute test infrastructure, scripts, and test cases for hardware and software products using standard test automation frameworks and tools.

Responsibilities:

This position requires a flexible individual with experience in rapid, new product development. TSC's IPC team is chartered with developing new products by leveraging technology across TSC. This team is responsible for rapid development, demonstration, and initial product rollout. This position requires an individual familiar with all phases of product development and deployment to include changing requirements, hardware, software, and mechanical integration dependencies, field testing, and configuration management. The individual in this position needs to design and implement testing approaches that support a product line with different features and at different levels of maturity.

  • Support the defining, developing, and execution of integration, product, and regression test plans.

  • Support all phases of product test from lab prototyping, V&V, Qualification, through transition to manufacturing.

  • Hands-on lab testing of integrated hardware and software systems.

  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team locally and across physical locations

  • Work within a multi-discipline team of systems, hardware, mechanical, software, and firmware engineers to build complete solutions and products.

Required Qualifications:

  • BS Degree and minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in industry.

  • Experience with the following is required:

  • Developing test plans, fixtures, and test interfaces for integrated hardware/software products.

  • Developing and executing unit, subsystem, and system test cases.

  • Developing test station software.

  • Design, and build, the required electrical ecosystem for the device under test.

  • Proficient in test development for RF & microwave products, along with related lab instrumentation.

  • Experience with RF test equipment (e.g., signal generators, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, etc.)

  • Test development for manufacturing environments

  • Possess excellent organizational and communications skills.

  • Able to prioritize work and maximize productivity.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.

  • U.S. Citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with radar, SIGINT, and/or electronic warfare product development.

  • Significant experience developing automated test cases with Python or similar language.

  • Linux experience - environment, software development
