POSITION SUMMARY

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Bilingual Supervisor Trainer to join our manufacturing team. The Bilingual Supervisor Trainer will be responsible for providing comprehensive training to NTK employees and new hires in both English and Spanish language. This role will play a pivotal part in ensuring that our company possess the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively lead diverse teams in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement training programs for all NTK associates to enhance their leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  2. Conduct training sessions in both English and Spanish language, ensuring comprehension and application of training content.
  3. Collaborate with department managers to identify training needs and develop customized training plans.
  4. Provide guidance and support to NTK in implementing best practices and operational procedures.
  5. Assess training effectiveness through evaluations and feedback mechanisms, making adjustments as necessary.
  6. Foster a culture of continuous learning and development among supervisors, encouraging ongoing skill enhancement.
  7. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to manufacturing operations and leadership.
  8. Act as a resource for management, addressing any questions or concerns related to training content or processes.
  9. Assist in the onboarding process for new supervisors, providing training and support as needed.
  10. Maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, and supervisor performance.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education: Associates' Degree in Organizational Leadership, or equivalent

Experience: 3 - 5 years training experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Computer Skills: Microsoft Office, LMS & JD Edwards, Cornerstone.

Certificates & Licenses:

Other Requirements:

  • Knowledge of technology and instructional design for learning tools
  • Experience working independently as well as within cross-functional teams in a collaborative, professional environment required

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

  • Fluency in both English and Spanish (spoken and written) is required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with individuals from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and safety protocols.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Experience in curriculum development and training program design.
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Experience in developing and delivering training programs, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to motivate and inspire others.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
  • This position may require occasional travel and flexibility in working hours to accommodate training schedules.

Preferred:

  • Certification in training and development or instructional design.
  • Experience working in a multicultural or international manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and methodologies.
  • Previous experience as a supervisor or team leader in a manufacturing setting.
