Under supervision of the VP Finance providing financial analysis of daily, weekly, and monthly operating results. Creating reports on financial performance for internal and external use.

Nationality Requirements

Candidates must be eligible to obtain the relevant security clearance required for the role, due to the nature of the programmes we deliver for our customers.

Job Description

Job Description:

  • Forecasts future revenue and expenditures to help determine budgets for upcoming projects.
  • Conducts researching and reporting on financial information, as well as monitoring financial movements within the market.
  • Analyzing current and past financial data.
  • Looking at current financial performance and identifying trends
  • Prepare, review and distributes monthly financial departmental reports.
  • Performs variance analysis on Actual vs. Budget vs. Forecast Preparing reports on the above information and communicating the insights of these reports to the wider business
  • Assist with establishing and monitoring departmental compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Assignment of expense account coding and approval of expenditures. Preparation of journal entries.
  • Assists with periodic internal controls audits and year-end external financial audit.
  • Protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
  • Maintains technical Consulting with the management team to develop long-term commercial plans
  • Suggesting budgets and improvements based on the above information.
  • Performs all other duties as required, requested or needed.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's in Accounting or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience handling transactional accounting tasks in a public or privately held organization
  • Previous experience working in ERP
  • 2+ years experience with developing budgets/forecasts.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in engineering and manufacturing environment preferred
  • Detail-oriented, focus on accuracy, self-motivated.
  • Good problem solver with ability to identify root cause of the problem.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance. Security clearances are granted to U.S. Citizens.
  • MBA or CPA desired but not mandatory.
