Position Overview:
Provide leadership and direction to the Team to ensure all operational goals are met to include Safety, Quality, Profitability, Production, and Customer Service. Provide business excellence through linkages throughout the organization by way of cooperation and support with all functions including Sales, Customer Service, Human Resources, Finance and Engineering. Provide and communicate a clear vision for profitable growth through implementation of World-Class techniques that will provide sustainable improvements.
The Operations Manager must have the ability to challenge traditional boundaries and beliefs and then eliminate the barriers to change and support innovation through technology, service, and cultural improvements. Through strong communication acting as a "Change Agent" and "Team Builder" is key to this position.
Willingness to share responsibility by empowering and delegating tasks to subordinates and holding them accountable for performance is critical to success. Driving results through the RAM (Responsibility, Accountability, Measurement) Process using quantifiable performance measures focused on tangible improvements.
