In 2003, our manufacturing facility was established in the South Industrial Park of Terre Haute, Indiana. Beginning with just one assembly line, a handful of employees and 58,000 square feet, the company has grown to over 450 employees and 224,000 square feet. In addition, we have an office on northeast side of Indianapolis where the Procurement and Supplier Development Department, Business Development and Product Engineering are now located. We have a third location in Troy, Michigan which houses our Sales Engineering, Logistics Distribution Center for USA, and Customer Resident Engineering.

Your responsibilities

Operates any and all machines as designated with the proper components and keeps the machine running by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Always follow all Company Safety policies and procedures
  • Assist / perform preventive maintenance assignments.
  • Operate individual process stations on assigned equipment
  • Completes necessary inspections accurately as assigned
  • Assist Production Team Lead in module training
  • Capable of clearing errors on production lines.
  • Report any quality issues or line issue to production Lead or Supervisor.
  • Perform changeovers according to Work Instructions
  • Accurate completion of associated paperwork and data entry
  • Perform 5S and Housekeeping standards.
  • Assist / perform scrap counts
  • Stock Line with components if required
  • Operate a forklift or AGV in a safe manner as required.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of safety policies and regulations to ensure duties of self and others are performed in a safe manner.

Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or GED.

Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend work instructions, correspondence and memos. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to communicate in one on one or group situations.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate and percentage and to interpret simple graphs.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, and feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; and talk and hear. Must be able to stand 8 12 hours a day. The employee must regularly lift and / or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and / or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, distant vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Employee will come in frequent contact with machine oils, lubricants and fluids.
