Position Summary
The Department of Criminal Justice at the University of Southern Indiana invites applications for a one-year, non-renewable Instructor in Criminal Justice position, to begin August of 2024.
Duties/Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include teaching four courses a semester in the areas of Criminal Courts and Law, Police and Society, and other classes depending on departmental need and instructor's area of expertise. Area of specialization is open, although primary consideration will be given to those with demonstrated teaching experience.
Required Knowledge and Skills
A Master's degree in criminal justice or closely related field required.
Preferred Knowledge and Skills
PhD in Criminal Justice or closely related field is preferred. ABD candidates may apply.
