Job Description

And as a result of our fast-paced growth, we're looking for exceptional leaders to join our Supply Chain in the role of Plant Manager, helping us continue to build a world class manufacturing organization utilizing Total Productive Maintenance as a foundation for continuous improvement.

You'll lead a team of approximately six direct reports, encompassing the leaders of production; planning; engineering; reliability; quality; safety, health and environment; finance; continuous improvement; and human resources. And you'll join a team of other dedicated plant managers in the North American manufacturing team, reporting to the Vice President of North American Manufacturing - sharing best practices with each other and enhancing your skills.

Plant Information:

  • Plant is located outside of Fort Wayne, Indiana producing GMP regulated products for critical customers in Hand Care, Health Care, Dairy, and Institutional accounts.
  • Plant is undergoing significant transformation with additional hand care capacity and investments in quality transformation. Recently launched the company's first microbiology laboratory onsite!
  • Partners with business teams to develop and implement innovation, cost savings, and customer expansion projects
  • Approx.. 120 employees, 130k square foot operation producing 23M KGs of volume per year.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 10+ years manufacturing experience with significant experience in Continuous Improvement such as LEAN or TPM
  • 5+ years progressive successful experience managing and leading staff and line positions
  • 2+ years functional experience in Engineering and Production
  • 2+ years of experience managing financial budgets
  • 2+ years capital management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • FDA manufacturing experience
  • 2+ years of experience leading TPM processes
  • Additional functional experience in at least two of the following areas: Distribution, Planning, Purchasing, Quality, and EHS
  • Willingness to relocate for future positions
  • Advanced Technical degree or MBA
