As a STAFF SCIENTIST-IMMUNOCHEMISTRY you will be responsible for the following:
being an expert scientific contributor in the technical specialty of Immunologically based assays
Provide technical expertise in the area of immunologically based assays
Provide technical training and mentoring of junior laboratory staff
Provide superior Hands on support for the Immunology group
Participate in Laboratory investigations
Support the implementation of startup priorities, systems and SOPs for the biotechnology group
Write SOPs supporting analytical testing, Quality systems, data systems, technical issues and instrumentation
Write and support the writing of study proposals and reports
Monitor, evaluate, and review the scientific performance of assays
Expert scientific contributor in the technical specialty of Immunologically based assays.
Required Education for the STAFF SCIENTIST-IMMUNOASSAY position includes:
Bachelor of Science/Arts (BS/BA) degree
3 or more years of experience in the biotechnology, biopharmaceutical or pharmaceutical industry
5 or more years of scientific experience relevant to the performance of immunologically based analysis of pharmacologically active compounds
Preference for experience in a high throughput QC release laboratory or contract laboratory performing release testing
Senior technical role in a regulated biotechnology and/or biopharmaceutical setting
Required Experience for the STAFF SCIENTIST-IMMUNOCHEMISTRY position includes:
Expertise in the analysis of Biotech/Biopharmaceutical products using immunolgically based techniques.
Experience with non-kit based ELISA and binding assays required.
Biacore experience a plus
Hands on expertise in the performance of immunologically based assays, robotic preparatory systems, plate readers and analytical software.
Functional knowledge of LIMS and other electronic data systems
Strong knowledge of GMP and GLP requirements
Strong preference for experience in a high throughput QC release laboratory or contract laboratory performing release testing
